Research questions:

1. What specific occupation does your character practice?
-Serverd as a warrior to the monarch

2. What does the need for this occupation and the information surrounding it tell us about the time period?
-It tells us that royality needed protecting and used Knights to serve that need.
3. What was his or her social standing?
-Knights were considered of lower nobility given by the monarch.

4. What might your character’s day to day life be like?
-The daily life of a Knight was a scheduled one. The Knight would start early in the morning begining with mass. Then because Knights were used as warriors they would spend most of their time honing skills in weaponry and combat, and keeping their level of fitnesss high. toward the end of the night the Knight would end the day patrolling the castle or manour.

5. What details about this character does Chaucer include?
-The Knight wears a smuged tunic, and has participated in many battles. His personality is one that is chivalrous, and generous.

6. What modern day occupation might correspond to your medieval character and why?
-There are still forms of Knighthood in our modern day. You can find different Knight orders in several countries. Although they do not partake in battles they still stand by the morals and attributes that are related to being a Knight, such as being courteous and honorable.
